Value Added Services
BING MOLD LIMITED builds plastic injection molds and makes plastic parts, but we also have additional capabilities that will assist you in completing your plastic product.
Ultrasonic Welding: our company’s ultrasonic welding process uses high frequency mechanical sound waves (ultrasonics) to crate molecular heat between thermoplastic materials so the plastic will melt and form a molecular bond between the parts to join two parts together.
Hot Plate Welding: Our hot plate welder uses a heated platen to melt the joining surfaces of the two halves of a thermoplastic part such as washer bottles, fuel tanks, automobile lighting, and batteries just to name a few. Hot plate welding allows precise control of the melt temperature, excellent weld strength, ability to weld complex parts that are larger. Additionally it is easier to attain a hermetic seal with hot plate welding. See our hot plate welding video.
Heat Staking: Metal or threaded inserts can be placed into plastic parts post-molding by using heat and pressure to place the inserts into the parts. The part is cooled immediately and the inserted piece is now permanently in place. Also, plastic parts can be molded together using this process.
Post-Molding Machining: Additional operations that are done after injection molding is completed by way of CNC machining.
Pad Printing & Silk Screening: Our capabilities include transferring a 2D image onto a 3D object providing accurate impressions in custom colors to meet your typography or imaging requirements.
Functional Testing by Customer Specification: Our company provides functional testing services required by customers. Typically testing includes leak testing, impact testing, and pressure testing.
Packaging: Once we have produced your parts, we can assemble and even package them. Clamshell/blister packs, boxed, header cards, etc. Your product can be packaged and ready to sell once it reaches you.
Assembly: Our company can assemble parts that you need put together rather than you having to find a third party to do it for you.
